Hüseyin Keskin
Mayor of Sultanbeylı
Biography
Hüseyin Keskin was born in Erzincan in 1972. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Theology and completed his graduate studies in business administration.
In 2002, Keskin started his political career by joining the local administration of the Refah Party. Continuing his career as the founding member of AK Party Sultanbeyli district. During this period, he served as the Head of Public Relations, Head of Organizatiın, and Head of Political and Legal Affairs. In the congress held on March 4, 2006, he was elected as the AK Party Sultanbeyli District President and continued this duty until the next congress. Keskin later was elected as the mayor of Sultanbeyli for the period of 2009-2014. Lastly being again nominated by Ak Party on March 31, 2019, Hüseyin Keskin was re-elected as the Mayor with the support of the majority of the district residents. Keskin is married and is the father of four children.

Keskin adopts a people-oriented administration. For him, it is important to take the people in the center, pay utmost attention to their needs, ideas, suggestions, and criticism.

Keskin puts effort into the improvement of Sultanbeyli: A relatively new city being at the entrance of Istanbul, which is progressing very fast and advancing the life quality of its citizens. Keskin aims at building a district where local residents can say proudly “I live in Sultanbeyli.”
